
CHANGSHA, Oct. 16 -- The 3rd China Space Aviation & Marine Industry Development Forum opened Tuesday in Changsha, the capital city of central China's Hunan Province.
With the theme of "openness, sharing and integration," the 2-day forum features presentations by specially invited academicians, a main forum, exhibitions and other events.
A total of eight parallel forums are also scheduled, focusing on hot topics such as unmanned systems and artificial intelligence, the high-quality development of software, the application of data from space remote sensing and others.
Space, aviation and marine industries are fundamental and strategic for the development of the national economy and the construction of China's national defense, according to the organizers.
The forum was thus launched to help establish a platform for exchanges in the industry, boost integration among the fields and push forward the conversion of achievements and the application of the industry.
