
HANGZHOU, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- New Internet products and applications will make their debut at the 6th World Internet Conference, which will be held from Oct. 20 to 22 in the river town of Wuzhen in eastern China's Zhejiang Province, local authorities said.
A five-day exposition will open on Oct. 18, showcasing the latest technological achievements in various fields such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, industrial Internet, e-commerce and digital cultural media.
A new pavilion, featuring digital controls and intellectual technologies, such as facial recognition, will provide visitors with an experience of high intelligence.
The "Straight to Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition will also be held during the conference, which will highlight a series of Internet-related innovation projects.
The town of Wuzhen has already achieved full 5G network coverage for commercial use this year, and over 60 intelligent projects will be displayed, including remotely controlled autonomous cars and a millimeter-wave security check device.
