On Oct. 11, a launch meeting for the implementation of the scientific investigation on Ailao Mountain, Wuliang Mountain and its further declaration of the national park was held in Jingdong Yi ethnic minority autonomous county.
This scientific investigation activity is proposed to through analyze and study the successful domestic and foreign cases, carry out a comprehensive scientific survey on eight themes including the plant diversity and vegetation and ecosystem comprehensive survey, ecosystem comprehensive survey, remote control/geological comprehensive study, astronomical and radio environments, and social economics, etc., so as to offer the pivot of an overall scientific result for the declaration of national park Ailao Mountain, Wuliang Mountain.
