BEIJING, Oct. 30 -- Taiwan enterprises have actively registered for the upcoming second China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, with their number increased substantially from last year, a Chinese mainland spokesperson said Wednesday.
Ma Xiaoguang, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, made the remarks at a routine press conference.
"We are willing to help promote products of Taiwan enterprises through the platform of CIIE and facilitate their access to the mainland market," said Ma.
The expo will run from Nov. 5 to 10.
