MUSCAT, Nov. 15 -- China's top political advisor Wang Yang on Friday called on the Chinese enterprises in Oman to fulfill social responsibilities during business expansion and make further contribution to the friendly ties between the two countries.
Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, made the remarks during his meeting with the representatives from six Chinese companies based in Oman, on the sidelines of his official visit to the country which started on Wednesday.
Wang said the concept of building a community of a shared future for humanity and the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) have been well received by the international community, as they have brought about tangible benefits to countries around the world, including Oman.
As a responsible major country, China upholds common development, mutual benefits and win-win results, said Wang.
He called on the Chinese enterprises in Oman to carry forward the Chinese culture while promoting Oman's economic and social development, and make further contribution to enhancing China-Oman friendship and cooperation.
