
DHAKA, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- A day long "China-Bangladesh Investment Promotion and Project Matching Conference" has been held in Bangladesh capital Dhaka.
China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products (CCCME) , Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh(CEAB) organized the event Monday which was hosted by the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation (OIEC) of China ministry of commerce and Bangladesh Investment Development Agency(BIDA). Hundreds of Bangladeshi and Chinese businessmen attended the conference.
Li Jiming, Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh, Han Yong, deputy director-general of OIEC and Sirajul Islam, executive chairman of BIDA, among others, spoke at the conference.
On the sidelines of the conference, officials of CCCME and CEAB signed agreements for cooperation.
Officials and top executives from BIDA, OIEC, leading Bangladeshi and Chinese companies in Bangladesh made paper presentations in the conference on bolstering trade and investments between the two countries.
