BEIJING, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Monday sent a congratulatory message to Sanna Marin on her assuming office as Finnish prime minister.
In his congratulatory message, Li said that under a new type of future-oriented cooperative partnership between China and Finland, bilateral cooperation in various domains has witnessed robust growth.
The successful closing of the 2019 China-Finland Year of Winter Sports has further deepened people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in sports between the two countries, Li said.
Noting that next year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, Li said he is willing to work with Marin to enhance political mutual trust and boost mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas of trade and investment, scientific and technological innovation, winter sports, and sustainable development, for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
