Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks Monday at a symposium attended by trainees of a course for newly appointed county-level publicity officials.
Huang called for efforts to study and implement the principles of the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the Central Economic Work Conference, and to undertake the missions of publicity work in the new era.
Noting that 2020 marks the year to finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the final year of the 13th Five-Year Plan, Huang said the publicity work will face the arduous tasks of boosting the morale for China's final sprint to a moderately prosperous society in all respects and pooling strength to cope with risks and challenges.
Huang also called for efforts to serve the public and strengthen people's senses of fulfillment, happiness and security.
