MACAO, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday called for continuous staunch support from across Macao society for the chief executive and government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) in exercising law-based governance.
Macao's great achievements during the past 20 years after its return to the motherland are a result of the wisdom and hard work of all Macao residents, Xi said while meeting with representatives of all walks of life in Macao.
Xi is in Macao for the celebrations of Macao's 20th anniversary of return to the motherland.
