KUNMING, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Tianbao, a land port in southwest China's Yunnan Province to Vietnam, cleared 841,000 people for entry and exit last year, official statistics showed.
The port is an important platform linking China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. The port administration said China-Vietnam border trade and tourism have gained momentum thanks to the Belt and Road Initiative and Tianbao's privileged location.
Nearly 100,000 vehicles were also cleared, and 1,236 tourist groups received at the port as well, the border checkpoint said.
