Originally built for SARS 17 years ago, it has recently been renovated in bright colors with specially-designed windows and corridors to make the travelers coming back home feel comfortable.
Divided into single rooms and double rooms, it is convenient for couples and those with kids. Each room is equipped with Wi-Fi, cable TV, private bathroom, video call screen and electric kettle.

As needed by the passengers, the hospital would provide Chinese or Western meals, water, toilet articles, chargers and even diapers for the babies. Besides, bilingual posters are put up in the wards and translation apps are downloaded in the working mobile phones of the hospital to make it easier for foreign passengers.
Over 1,000 medical workers from 21 hospitals in Beijing would screen and treat pneumonia patients in the hospital. The AI technology employed in the hospital enables the doctors to track down suspected cases more efficiently by means of CT scanning.

Meanwhile, the nursing team has established special groups that provide specific services for the inpatients, such as teams especially for children or for psychological assistance.
As the pneumonia continues to spread around the world, Beijing is faced with greater pressure on controlling the imported cases. By the end of the day March 21, Beijing had reported a total of 97 imported pneumonia cases, with seven cured and discharged.
