In the Fertile Orange Base of Jiangxi Village, Mohei Town, Ning’er Hani and Yi Autonomous County, Pu'er City, farmers were packing and delivering fertile oranges.
Jiangxi Village's fertile oranges enjoy good sale, the main source of income of the villagers. Affected by the outbreak of novel coronavirus, roads were closed, and courier services were suspended, so hundreds of tons of fertile oranges were hanging on the trees; and if all these fertile oranges went bad, fruit farmers would suffer a loss of up to a million yuan.
Learning such situation, the leader from China Baowu Steel Group taking the temporary office in Ning'er ordered about 8.3t fertile oranges in 1,670 pcs, easing the loss of fruit farmers in Jiangxi Village.
