BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- China hopes all sectors in Nepal can properly address their domestic issues and restore social order and national stability at an early date, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Wednesday.
Lin made the remarks at a news briefing when asked to comment on protests and unrest in Nepal that forced its prime minister to resign.
China and Nepal are traditionally friendly neighbors, Lin added, while advising Chinese nationals in Nepal to pay attention to safety.
