BEIJING, July 13 -- Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, China’s inland open-economic experimental zone, joined the World Free Zones Organization in April.
The first meeting of board of directors and annual meeting of the organization were held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from May 11 to May 13.
The membership of the World Free Zones Organization is of vital significance for Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone to make rational use of resources, enhance communication with other members in operational management, economic technology and information trends, develop through transformation and broaden exchange with the world.
Established in Geneva, Switzerland and headquartered in the Dubai Airport Freezone in United Arab Emirates, World FZO will provide global leadership in terms of knowledge of free zones, enhance public and general knowledge and the perception of free zones, provide a range of services for its members and the community, as well as help to increase awareness of the advantages of free zones in terms of economic and social development, foreign and direct investment.
