A private museum known as China House attracts visitors, with more than 400 million porcelain fragments and 5,000 china vases decorated on an old house.
Most of the porcelain can be traced back hundreds or thousands of years. The house was renovated from a colonial-era villa built in the 1920's. Experts have evaluated the worth of the whole museum at 9.8 billion yuan ($1.57 billion).
The owner and designer of the house, Zhang Lianzhi, spent 20 years collecting the porcelain antiques. Zhang said he hopes to bring the "injured" porcelain to face the world again and attract public attention to Chinese culture through the magic of art.
