Born in 1984, Jia Hongwei is the son of ordinary farmers in Xinglong County, north China's Hebei Province. He became paraplegic at 7 due to disease of central nervous system, losing consciousness below the chest. After graduating from middle school, he made painstaking efforts to study knowledge and write. In 2007, his novel "Looking for Flowers in Dream" was published by China Drama Press, and the proses and poems written by him were published on major newspapers and magazines for many times. Now, his second novel, with 420,000 characters, is about to be published.
