San Francisco, June 16, (People's Daily Online)---- Thousands of Americans and visitors watched the nation's first match at the 2014 Brazil World Cup in front of the San Francisco City Hall.
With a massive outdoor screen installed in front of the San Francisco City Hall, American soccer fans gathered, watched the game and chanted "U-S-A! U-S-A!" The U.S. defeated Ghana 2-1, giving the Americans a measure of revenge against the West African country that knocked them out of the previous two World Cups.
