Post-1980s is the first generation after one-child policy was introduced on Chinese mainland, and the first to grow up in the era of reform. In many families, post-1980s were spoiled and treated as “an emperor”, because the parents wanted their only one child to enjoy the most comfortable life. Having grown-up, the post-1980s is making up a major portion of China's young adult demographic; some of them got married, some got babies, turning themselves from a “dependent child” to the “breadwinner of the family”. Liu Zhenhua is one of them. In the new role of “father”, he feels the joys and sorrows in his life.
