Situated 30 km west of Xi'an City, Huaqing Pool was a royal palace on the Huaqing Palace Site of the Tang Dynasty. By virtue of its everlasting hot springs, the romantic story between Emperor Xuanzong and his consort Yang Guifei, the scene of Xi'an Incident, and the rich cultural and historical resources, Huaqing Pool has become a famous cultural tourism area in China, a national key cultural relics protection unit, and one of the first National 5A Level Scenic Spots.
