A verified account of the Chengdu public security bureau on Sina Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, published a series of movie poster-like photos Wednesday in an effort to attract talents to join the police force.

One of the recruitment promotion posts asked emotionally those who dream of wearing a police uniform in their childhood to jump on board and join their service in safeguarding the city; another offered links to the official recruitment announcement and the website for registration. Eligible candidates will go through multiple exams assessing their mental quality, physical fitness and professional knowledge.

The posts have generated over 12,000 reposts and 4,500 comments as of July 4 with the numbers still increasing.
