Several female members of the Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (SWAT) on the frontier of anti-terrorism in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have aroused a lot of admiration for their beauty and bravery after their photos were posted online.
"What push you forward are not difficulties, but dreams," a Tajik SWAT member wrote on Weibo (Chinese version of Twitter). She records her difficulties and looks forward to her dreams on Weibo. A lot of netizens have been fascinated by her fair skin and sweet smile which seem at odds with her potentially dangerous and violent job.
