Wang Xiaobing, 33, is a villager in Zhangjiakou, north China's Hebei province. He lost his legs in a fire accident when he was seven. Due to the family's poor condition, he had to quit school. With the help of the local government and friends, he learned crafts of repairing shoes and locks to make a living. In 2008, touched by his personality, a woman named Li Chengmei from Hunan province married him and gave birth to their son. In 2011, with support of the local government, Wang started to run a sheep farm and has become wealthy due to his diligence.
