| The final steel beam was installed on Shanghai's tallest building on Sunday, August 3, 2014, with the skyscraper reaching is designed height of 632 meters. The 137-story Shanghai Tower in Lujiazui financial and trade zone in the city's Pudong New Area is expected to open in the middle of next year.
