| The dead forest is located in Ejin Banner, north China’s of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It used to be a thick populus euphratica forest. Because of rivers diversion in history, the trees died of drought. The grotesque dead trees present a mysterious and wild scene. It is often called “the odd forest” by tourists.
