An ethnic costume show integrated with fashion was held in Yizhou, South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on the evening of October 19, 2014, attracting local citizens’ attention. Yizhou, hometown of the Zhuang people’s fairy singer Liu Sanjie, is honored as “City of Chinese Folk Arts” and “City of Folk Songs”, and it is also famous for silkworm. This fashion show was held to introduce local ethnic culture and the circular economy industry of silkworm and silk to people at home and abroad during the Fifth Liu Sanjie Cultural Tourism Festival. It was also a "dialogue" between ethnic costume and fashion costume.
