LONDON, Oct. 28 (People's Daily Online)—— Turner Contemporary, a contemporary arts organisation based in Margate, Kent, announced its 2015 programme yesterday. Turner Contemporary is situated on the exact same site where JMW Turner stayed on his frequent visits to Margate, recreating his original view and capturing the same unique Thanet light that inspired many of his works.
Turner Contemporary will collaborate with Jasmin Vardimon Company to present an immersive new performance "Maze" in April 2015. Maze was inspired by Arad's visit to a foam factory in China.
Victoria Pomery, director of Turner Contemporary, states: "This unique collaboration allows both organisations to create an exceptional new work which draws together choreography, the visual arts and architecture."
Other Programmes in 2015 includes “Self: Image and identity - self-portraiture from Van Dyck to Louise Bourgeois”, “Grayson Perry”, “Risk” and “Carlos Amorales”.
