Tao Jiali, a member of The August 1st Aerobatics Team flying J-10 figher, is a post-80s female pilot from southwest China's Sichuan province.
Having been flying for more than 800 hours, Tao is a second-level pilot as well as a squadron leader in the team. Tao and her team members flew over Tiananmen Square in K-8 on Oct. 1, 2009 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China.
Tao began to long for freedom from a very young age and regarded flying in the sky as her highest achievement in life.
Tao said that flying is serious and mysterious. Every flight tests her intelligence and perseverance.
Tao hopes to fly in a more beautiful and decent way.
