An air force station in Chengdu held a competition to raise working abilities in dealing with new technical battles.

More than 100 soldiers and over 40 machines from different departments were involved.

The competition was mainly on machinery fixing, emergency anti-air setting and anti-explosion. The soldiers also simulated situations that may happen in future battles.

Leaders of the station said: "The station has made innovations in ways of training to fulfill their duty. Competition has raised the soldiers' interest in learning and practicing skills. Meanwhile soldiers who won the competition also behaved well in many military exercises. The comprehensive capability of the station has been improved."
