Deng set himself the business goal of promoting Lanzhou's beef noodles to the whole nation, and allowing more people to taste the genuine article without havign to travel to Lanzhou. In September 2013 he and two other masters graduates all resigned their jobs and started to focus on the online beef noodle business.
