
BEIJING, Feb. 11 -- Senior Chinese Mainland officials in charge of cross-Strait affairs will visit Taiwan people living in the mainland ahead of the Spring Festival that falls on Feb. 19.
Officials of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office and the Association for Relations across the Taiwan Straits will visit Taiwan business people, students and those who moved to the mainland because of marriage in 11 provinces and municipalities, traveling in six groups.
Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, made the announcement at a press conference on Wednesday.
