
Luochuan Bie Drum dance
The drum dance Luochuan Bie Drum is a national intangible heritage. "Bie" means "to jump" in the dialect of Shaanxi and this dance is characterized by jumping movements. Bie drum dance comes from the evolution matrix troops.
The artists performing Luochuan Bie Drum are men only. The dancers tie a towel in their heads, a flag on his back, a skirt at the waist, a tape loaded in the legs or drum, gong and cymbals during the dance. When playing instruments for dancing, the basic movements are concentrated on the single jump, double jump, steps and turn.
