On Feb 12, 2015, two horses presented by Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj to Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan arrived in China through the port of entry in Erenhot. President Xi paid state visit to Mongolia on August 21 – 22 last year. The two hourses were named Altay and Cherlen by Xi, meaning China and Mongolia are joined by mountains and rivers and in good neighborly and friendly relations.
