
Image provided by Chile's National Geology and Mining Service (SERNAGEOMIN, for its acronym in Spanish) on March 2, 2015, shows an aerial view of the Villarrica Volcano, 18km south of Pucon, and 128km southeast of Temuco, in the 9th region of La Auracania, Chile. The central and regional authorities issued a Red Alert and informed that the Villarrica Volcano has considerably increased its activity.
