
FUZHOU, March 4 -- Four people were killed and 24 others were injured late Tuesday night after a bus overturned on a highway in east China's Fujian Province, said local traffic authorities.
The accident occurred at 11:09 p.m. on a highway in Quanzhou City, killing four people on the spot, said a spokesman with the city's highway traffic police squad.
Four people have serious injuries but are in stable condition, according to the spokesman.
The bus, which is designed to carry 47, was carrying 46 people. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
