The industrial enterprises safety standardization meeting was held in Xi'an High-tech Zone on Feb. 11. The meeting required all industrial enterprises to comprehensively promote the standardization of safe production, take full responsibility for safety, strengthen the safe production management infrastructure, and improve the safety level of the enterprise.
The enterprises in different industries including metallurgy, building materials, machinery, nonferrous metals, light industry, textiles, commerce, non-coal mines, dangerous chemicals, fireworks, pharmaceutical and chemical industries and enterprises, construction, transportation and municipal utilities must meet the standards of safe production before the end of the year.
There are 224 enterprises above designated size (the main business income is over 20 million yuan) in Xi'an High-tech Zone, accounting for more than 16 percent of the city's industrial economy.
At the meeting, the Development and Reform Bureau of Commerce of the High-tech Zone signed letters of responsibility for safe production with the enterprises and demanded the relative experts to provide training to enterprises on firefighting and safe production.
