Seven tourists have been killed by falling rocks at the Diecai Mountain scenic area in Guilin, southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Local reports say the tourists were about to board their boats for a tour in the area when they were struck by falling rocks.
Four were killed at the scene and 19 others were wounded including eight tourists from Taiwan who only suffered slight injuries.
Three of the injured later died in hospital.
Guilin in the northeast of Guangxi is situated on the west bank of the Li River.
