
URUMQI, March 25-- Six people have been confirmed dead, and two others were injured after an early morning fire occurred in a bungalow in Karamay City, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Wednesday.
The fire broke out minutes after midnight. Strong winds fueled the fire sprawling 1,000 square meters before fire fighters brought it under control.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
