
BEIJING, March 25 -- Xu Gang, vice governor of Fujian Province, has been removed from his post for suspected serious disciplinary and legal violations, the Organizational Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee said Wednesday.
The decision was taken by the central authority and necessary procedures are being followed, the department said.
China's top anti-graft body said Friday that Xu is being probed for alleged serious violation of Party discipline and laws.
