| Picture of a snow leopard was captured by an infrared camera, set up at an altitude of 4,102 meters, at the Wolong National Nature Reserve in Southwest China’s Sichuan province, Jan. 1, 2015. In a short video clip, the snow leopard was also found roaming with its cub, about one year old, on the mountain. Snow leopards, one of China's Class A protected animals, are usually found in the Himalayan ranges of central and south Asia at altitudes between 3,000 and 5,500 meters.
