A four year old boy who has brain cancer will become the youngest solid-organ donor in northeast China's Heilongjiang province. His donation is expected to save the lives of five children.
After months of unsuccessful treatment, Chen Lin's parents decided to sign the living solid organ donation agreement, in the hope that their son's organs could save other children's lives. They believe that the donation can help their son to be "reborn" in other children's lives.
Chen Lin has received treatment at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University since December last year, and has sunk into a deep coma in CPU after months of afflicted brain cancer.
