
According to Liang Yang, spokesman of the Chinese Navy, a cooperative training between airplanes and warships was conducted east of the Bashi Channel in the West Pacific recently. A series of actual combat subjects were successfully carried out during the training.
Liang pointed out that the training is part of the annual training plan of the Chinese Navy, which doesn't aim at any specific countries, regions or targets. And during the training, the freedom of navigation and overflight of the relevant maritime space and airspace were not influenced.
