
BEIJING, June 15 -- The 8th meeting of the China-Vietnam steering committee on cooperation will be held in China this week, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Monday.
The meeting will be held during Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh's visit to China from Wednesday to Friday, spokesman Lu Kang said in a statement.
Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi will co-chair the meeting with Pham Binh Minh, said Lu.
The 7th meeting of the China-Vietnam steering committee on cooperation was held in Hanoi in last October.
