
ALGIERS, June 23 -- China has been the largest supplier of Algeria during the five first months of 2015, according to a report of the National Center for Informatics and Statistics of Customs (CNIS).
The report said China's exports to Algeria hit 785 million U.S. dollars from January to May.
Algeria's total imports in May reached 4.53 billion dollars, compared to 5.54 billion a year earlier.
China has replace Franceas the largest supplier of Algeria for two last years with more than eight billion dollars.
China and Algeria raised their bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership in February, 2014, the first of its kind among China's relationship with Arab countries.
