
KATHMANDU, June 25 -- China would like to cooperate with India in helping Nepal in its post-quake reconstruction, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi here Thursday.
Wang told the Chinese media based here that during his meeting with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on the sidelines of the International Conference on Nepal's Reconstruction, they agreed that the two countries should coordinate and communicate in the efforts to help Nepal in rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts.
The two foreign ministers also discussed possible long-term trilateral cooperation with Nepal in backing the latter's economic development and would work out such plans in future, according to Wang.
