BEIJING, July 2 (Xinhua) -- The State Council, China's cabinet, on Thursday announced the appointment of several senior government officials.
Meng Qingfeng was appointed vice minister of public security, and Qu Dongyu vice minister of agriculture.
The State Council named Wang Xiaofeng deputy director of National Tourism Administration and Wang Yiming deputy director of Development Research Center of the State Council.
Du Zhanyuan was appointed chief of the State Language Work Committee, and Xu Lin was appointed deputy director of Cyberspace Administration of China.
The State Council also relieved Liu Shijin from the position of deputy director of Development Research Center of the State Council.
