
BEIJING, July 3 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed six new ambassadors, according to a statement from the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Friday.
Chen Xiaodong was appointed ambassador to Singapore, replacing Duan Jielong.
Xu Bu was appointed ambassador to ASEAN, replacing Yang Xiuping.
Tang Weibin was appointed ambassador to Cote d'Ivoire, replacing Zhang Guoqing.
Duan Jielong was appointed ambassador to Hungary, replacing Xiao Qian.
Huang Changqing was appointed ambassador to Luxembourg, replacing Zeng Xianqi.
Zhao Bentang was appointed ambassador to Venezuela, replacing Zhao Rongxian.
