
BEIJING, July 20 -- Chinese stocks opened mixed on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.23 percent to open at 3,948.42.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.85 percent higher at 13,115.48.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.34 percent higher at 2,820.72 points.
