BEIJING, July 22 -- China's Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said Wednesday that prosecutors in eastern China's Jiangsu Province are investigating a former vice mayor of Taizhou City on graft charges.
Jia Chunlin was suspected of taking bribes and has been put under "coercive measures," which may include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention and arrest.
The SPP did not specify which measures had been taken.
