A group of photos showing a girl holding umbrella for a sanitation worker are winning hearts online. Netizen"se7en_92" took the photos and put it online, saying: "I saw the scenery in the rainstorm in Chengdu, lovely girl!"
After the investigation, the reporter from Sichuan News Online has found the sanitation worker in the photo. Xu Chunfeng, 67, from Zigong of Sichuan, told the reporter what she had been through in the rain storm on July 19.
"I was in the Yinshi square when the rain storm started. There is a shelter 200 meters away from me. When I ran to shelter, I found a girl chased me and held umbrella for me. She accompanied me all the way till I was in the shelter. Her dress was wet for covering me," Xu recalled.
"The girl wore a blue dress and a white skirt. She held a yellow umbrella and looks about 20 years old. Before I could react, she had already left. A stranger holding umbrella for me made me feel very warm in heart. If there's a chance to meet the girl again, I want to say thank you to her," said Xu.
