
World's largest pizza appears in Xinjiang
The 2nd Silk Road International Food Exhibition and Trade Fair kicked off in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on July 22, 2015. Many delicious foods appeared at the fair.
After two hours' preparation and bakery, six cooks carried out a large pizza at the fair the next day. The pizza, 3.04 meters in diameter, was made by 12 chefs with 30 kilograms of flour, 10 kilograms of pepper, 25 kilograms of cheese, 12 kilograms of beef ham, as well as 10 kilograms of mushroom.

20,000 eggs cooked in truck fire
A truck loaded with fresh eggs catches fire on a highway in southwest China's Sichuan province on July 25, 2015. Over 36,000 eggs were in fire suddenly. When the firefighters put out the fire, over 20,000 eggs had been cooked.
